To be honest...
I didn’t have an organized classroom right from the start. It was a hot mess! I would come home late because I was always playing catch up and trying to get things ready for the following day instead of having a system put in place for a clean, organized, and well planned classroom. And it didn’t get better until a few years into teaching when I realized I couldn’t continue to put off organization anymore.
I wanted to create organizational systems because I knew it was important for me and my students to have an organized classroom environment. I wanted to regain the time I spent trying to stay organized everyday. I wanted to take away the stress from all the clutter and mess in my classroom. I wanted to learn how to plan ahead instead of making copies that morning before school started. I wanted to do all this and be home in time for dinner.
